Wintouch 7.0 is even more efficient integrated to IBM Lotus Notes, Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook. Wintouch users can save incoming and outgoing Lotus Notes, Thunderbird or Outlook email in Wintouch. Email attachments can also be saved on the System i/iSeries/as400 then viewed from the Wintouch Activity Log and later, email and chat text files can be searched as part of Wintouch notes.
Outgoing Email
With full integration to email, Wintouch enables increased efficiency and flexibility in day to day operations.
- The user is able to exchange email messages with anyone over the Internet and to save those messages directly as completed activities in Wintouch.
- When sync-ed, the sender's address from an incoming email can automatically match the customer file, open the customer file, then "click" to save the email text in the activity. Email text can later be searched as part of Wintouch notes.
- The user can click the mailbox icon next to the contact's name within Wintouch to open a new email message to that contact, then simply "click" to save in Wintouch.
- You can conduct mass email marketing campaigns.
- You can merge existing Wintouch data into an email template to be sent to multiple email addresses or use a single template repeatedly as the need arises.

Online Chat Function
Wintouch has an integrated chat facility to improve and simplify communication with customers. By utilizing the chat function, you are able to have live conversations with single and/or multiple customers over the internet, and these chats can subsequently be saved in the history for these contacts/accounts.
Wintouch chat is an ideal way to expand your online customer service. Now you can provide your customers with the option to chat with a live customer service rep as part of your Wintouch solution.
