Costa Mesa, CA – May 17, 2005 – Touchtone Corporation, a leading developer of enterprise solutions for the IBM iSeries – AS/400, has been selected as one of only 32 exhibitors at the 12th annual "Catch the Wave" Technical Conference and Vendor Solutions Expo of the OCEAN User Group on July 26. This is the largest Held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Irvine, Touchtone will demonstrate Wintouch for WebSphere and Wintouch eCRM, a client/server solution and the only native iSeries ServerProven™ solution with integrated 5250 terminal emulation and a GUI interface.
Speakers include one of the industry's top RPG trainers, Bob Cozzi, a nationally known expert trainer and author in the world of RPG IV, leading a track on the latest RPG IV features and techniques to upgrade RPG skills. There will be one track that will feature Paul Holm of PlanetJ Corporation and Craig Pelkie of Bits and Bites, lecturing on developing applications using Java and WebSphere Development Tools. Another track on Security and Infrastructure for operations and support staff will be offered featuring Carol Woodbury of Skyview Partners, LLC, one of the top Security experts on the IBM eServer arena. There are also plans for a track on Windows productivity tools and Managing IT in Today's World of Mixed Platforms. The luncheon keynote address is by Bob Tipton who enlightens and entertains IT professionals with his knowledge of IT trends, strategies, personal development, and productivity enhancement. Bob Tipton has been very well received with OCEAN and other user group events throughout the US, Canada and Europe. This is a rare opportunity to hear from someone who knows how to communicate the "Big Picture" in IT and the little pieces that make up the "Big Picture." Bob has some provocative thoughts and insights about the future of IT and tips on surviving the upcoming changes in IT.
