Wintouch^®eCRM to Be Introduced at eCRM 2000 Conference and Exhibition

March 29, 2000 – Costa Mesa, CA – Touchtone Corporation, developer and publisher of software solutions for the IBM AS/400, will announce the release of Wintouch eCRM at the eCRM 2000 Conference and Exhibition in Los Angeles on April 5-7.

Wintouch eCRM is a Java-based enterprise or ASP (Application Service Provider) Web-enabled solution for Customer Care, Sales Force Automation and Marketing Automation applications.

Wintouch eCRM Customer Care combines customer, contact and activity information, with integrated email, chat, help desk and customer applications. Its Sales Force Automation facilitates and automates processes and workflow in the sales cycle, including contact management, sales opportunity identification and tracking and sales forecasting. Its Marketing Automation provides solutions for lead distribution and marketing campaign management including targeting, planning and analysis.

Wintouch’s search capabilities provide extensive global and user level search capabilities allowing virtually any combination of data fields to be selected for specific Boolean searches," said Pat Flynn, president of Touchtone. "All database fields are determined, grouped, organized, presented and named to meet the custom needs of each installation."

Wintouch CRM applications are 100% Java-based, resulting in a cross-platform, client-independent solution easily accessed from IP-based intranet clients or via the Internet from any Web browser client. Even while providing worldwide access, Wintouch securely protects its data.

"Wintouch is secure because its database information resides on the enterprise server, with ID and password transmission encrypted and required for access," explained Bruce Friesen, Touchtone marketing director. "No database records reside on the client. This protects against unauthorized copying of valuable records while reducing system administrative costs."

In addition to custom enterprise GUI screen design, departments or end users can additionally "drag and drop" fields for additional customization. Screen field "labels" are also easily changed for language localization. There is no limit to the number of database fields or customer/contact records.

Touchtone Corporation has been an AS/400 software solutions developer since 1991, and currently has a significant installation base for its QuestView AS/400 database software tool.
