Touchtone Announces IBM ThinkPad Winner in 10th Anniversary Drawing
January 8, 2002 – Costa Mesa, CA – Touchtone Corporation, a leading developer and publisher of software solutions for the IBM AS/400 operating system, announced the winner of the IBM ThinkPad laptop computer in celebration of the company's tenth anniversary.
Sue Warfel, Midrange Systems Manager at Willamette Industries in Portland, OR, was selected in a random drawing on December 31, 2001 as the winner of an IBM ThinkPad laptop computer. Entries were received on the Touchtone and Wintouch websites as well as at AS/400 user groups across the country.
"This is the first time I have won anything like this," Ms. Warfel said when contacted. "Willamette has used Touchtone's QuestView product for a number of years. Touchtone's customer support has always been excellent. When you call, you get answers from the people who designed and built the system."
"Touchtone would like to congratulate Ms. Warfel and thank everyone who entered the drawing," said Reza Saraf, founder and CEO. "Ten successful years in business is momentous, especially in the current climate in the technology industry."
"This provided a tremendous opportunity to draw existing customers as well as an entirely new audience to Touchtone's newly redesigned website and to introduce our Java-enabled eCRM/PRM product, Wintouch," said Rich Hall, VP sales and marketing. Wintouch eCRM is a web-based customer relationship software (CRM) software solution with application solutions for customer service and support, sales force automation (SFA), marketing automation (MA), and partner relationship management (PRM).
